Following the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in November, news broke that not one, but two of the picture perfect, how-do-they-exist, do-they-ever-eat Angels announced that they were pregnant when they walked the show. Lily Aldridge, the beaming and bronzed Southern California native and her husband, Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, are expecting their first child. And Alessandra Ambrosio, the leggy, highlighted Brazilian bombshell, is expecting her second child with her longtime fiancé, businessman Jamie Mazur.
When the news broke back in December, it was assumed that Alessandra and Lily were at almost the same stage of their pregnancies, with Alessandra perhaps a tad further along (both were between 3-4 months pregnant, and therefore due in late spring/early summer).
Since this will be Lily’s first child, we’re betting on the less popular option here and thinking she’ll give birth before Alessandra. One thing’s for sure: based on past Angel-mommies, motherhood isn't a career breaker, so we’ll probably see these ladies back, in fighting form, come November 2012. Life’s not fair.
