With the recent cancellation of Rosie O'Donnell's show on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), there are rumors that Oprah herself is courting Maria Shriver to take a spot with the network. Ratings are low and
Perez HIlton reports, "according to sources, Oprah feels that many of her readers will relate to Maria Shriver, ultimately resulting in a ratings boost.
Whether she would pull in numbers is another bet, but for now, do you think Maria will get on board with Oprah? They are long time friends and we feel Oprah could convince anyone to do anything. We personally miss O and wish she'd just come back already. So what's the word, do you think Oprah will be able to get Maria on OWN? Rumor has it, if she joins it will be for a fall premiere. We will keep this open for awhile and see how the talks go. A confirmation from representation will confirm, otherwise we will close this on June 30th.
