Don’t we all miss ogling over Kate Middleton? It's been too long since she and her shiny hair exchanged nuptials with the dashing Prince. Thankfully, we now have another Middleton to obsess over. Phew! The lovely Pippa (aka Her Royal Hotness) is the new ‘it’ thing being waved in front of our very own Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters (oh, and Matt Lauer). According to Daily Mail Online the earrings are off and the two American talk show superstars are duking it out in a $470,430 bidding war.

I know, I know. You thought that Pippa’s only talent was being a superb bridesmaid. But no, Pippa is the supreme highness of party planning and hosting. Socialite-ing at it’s best. Penguin Publishing won the Pippa prize before, signing her on for over $600k to write the ultimate guide to being the perfect party hostess. I think that is what the civilians need… a how-to guide on throwing a party… royalty style.

I am still waiting for my Barbie Royal Family Dream House with a Pippa “Socialite” extension pack. Come on, who wouldn’t buy that?

Can’t wait to see how this turns out. Claws are out and fighters are in the ring. So exciting. Since Oprah is god to the little people and will own the world one day, my vote’s on her. What do you think? Will it be wild card Matt Lauer?
