The Real Housewives of OC Chatter: Is Tamra Barney's Engagement Real?
Just last week Tamra Barney, of The Real Housewives of Orange County, alluded to the fact that she and boyfriend Eddie are engaged. Now her equally blond and tan frenemy Gretchen Rossi is saying it's all for the cameras and Tamra and Eddie will never actually tie the knot. Apparently, Gretchen and Slade were offered the same deal since Bravo wanted a proposal for the season finale. Gretch claims Slade was bribed with a free ring plus a luxe trip for a destination proposal that would be slick enough for Bravo's cameras. When Slade declined the offer, Tamra and Eddie swooped in and took advantage of the opportunity. What is real with the real housewives anymore!? Hard to tell.
Is Tamra Barney's engagement real? This is hard to judge, so we will just say this will have to be open-ended and the only confirmation will be a walk down the aisle. Our bets are that it is as real as engagements on these shows come, and why not capitalize on it? That is what we think they are thinking, not us. Swear.
