Sparkling vampire and ripped werewolf fans everywhere patiently awaited for the Twilight saga’s "Breaking Dawn: Part One". The film opened at $138.1 million. Wow! But now there is a new young-adult-fiction saga on the block and it is gunning for top spot.
"The Hunger Games" is will hit theaters on March 23, and it is set to beat "Breaking Dawn" at the box office. The wild popularity of the series by Suzanne Collins is making this movie quite popular. Hollywood Reporter has box office predictions, at this point, to come in at around $100 million but will probably surpass that and end up one of the biggest debuts of all time.
Action, drama, adventure, Stanley Tucci and the Australian Liam Hemsworth (aka Miley Cyrus’s boyfriend)... what more could you ask for?
